Profile:Keith Terrett
Keith Terrett is a composer, arranger, conductor, band trainer, trumpeter and multi-instrumentalist, born in London in 1956. Keith currently works as a Brass Instructor, and has held other music posts in West Germany, British West Indies, Papua New Guinea, Kuwait and Norway. He composes in all styles ranging from full symphony orchestra to steel pans! His original composition 'The Gypsy Trumpeter in New Orleans', is currently being performed by the eminent British Trumpeter Crispian Steele Perkins, and in the USA Mario Guaneri is using it with his Trumpet students! During his career, he has been fortunate to perform with some of the world's leading conductor's and orchestras, such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Sir John Pritchard, and the London Brass and Bach Choir under Sir David Wilcocks.
